Carson City Chamber welcome Panera Bread with ribbon cutting ceremony
It’s five o’clock somewhere and last evening at 5 pm in Carson City, Panera Bread and Bakery held their official grand opening and ribbon cutting to announce to the region the first Manna Development Group Panera Bread franchise in Northern Nevada.
Corporate officials Jacob Bustos, Executive Director of Operations, Jennifer Arnold, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Daniel Trembly, General Manager of the new store located at4881 Cochise Street in south Carson presided over the Carson City Chamber ribbon cutting event that also included presentations and formal welcomes by Nevada State Assemblyman PK O’Neill, Carson City Mayor Lori Bagwell, and Carson City Chamber Chair Kris Wells. Many Chamber board members were on hand to welcome and show their support.
The corporate headquarters for the Manna Development Group is located in Encinitas, CA, San Diego County and currently holds the Area Development Agreement for Panera Bread as the largest geographical franchisee, for Panera Breads in California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Wyoming, Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, and Oklahoma and now Nevada. They will be opening stores as well in Reno and Sparks, but Carson City is their first.
Known for its fresh baked bread and all-natural antibiotic-free menu with no preservatives, Panera Bread opened for business Monday and is located at the Cochise Crossing, 4881 Cochise Street off of South Carson Street in Carson City. They serve bakery treats, sandwiches, salads, soups and more. Hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Sunday hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
