Carson City emergency crews respond to crash involving pedestrian at Hot Springs, Pine Lane
UPDATE 10:17PM: A 72-year-old male pedestrian was seriously injured and flown to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center in Reno Monday night following a vehicle crash near a crosswalk at the intersection of Hot Springs Road and Pine Lane. Carson City Sheriff's Office Sgt. Nate Brehm said the driver of the vehicle is cooperating and told officers she didn't see the man.
Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor, said Brehm. The victim was conscious and suffered injuries to his leg and hip. NHP is also involved in the accident investigation.

Carson City emergency crews responded Monday evening to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in the area of Hot Springs Road and Pine Lane.
The crash was reported shortly before 6:40 p.m. First responders arriving on scene report the pedestrian suffered injuries. A Care Flight air ambulance was ordered.
Motorists are advised to stay clear of the area and yield to emergency vehicles. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
