Nevada governor sustains minor injuries in vehicle crash
Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak suffered minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Las Vegas police responded to the crash at around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Rainbow and Russell that involved and SUV and sedan.
"The other driver and Governor Sisolak both appeared to have minor, external injuries but were both taken to UMC as a precaution," according to a statement from the Governor's Office released on Sunday evening. "The governor was released from the hospital at 3:10 p.m. He is now resting at home. No other information is available at this time."
