Carson City deputies make arrests for domestic battery, drug possession and warrants
An 18-year-old woman was arrested Oct. 8 for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office arrest report.
According to the booking report, deputies were called to a Fall Street residence for a report of yelling and screaming.
Officers interviewed a male and female who were arguing over her phone and social media. At one point a notebook was thrown at the male, hitting him in the chest. The male stated he threw the notebook back at the female, hitting her in the head. The female was determined to be the primary aggressor, the arrest report states. Bail: $3,137.
In other arrests:
— A 20-year-old man, Kale Krigbaum, was arrest Oct. 8, for suspicion felony of possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence through the department of alternative sentencing. Bail: $3,637.
— A 32-year-old Silver City man, Sergio Joseph Torres, was arrested Oct. 8 for suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and a misdemeanor warrant out of Storey County. Bail: $8,274.
— A 26-year-old Spring Creek, Nev., man was arrested Oct. 8 for suspicion of gross misdemeanor destruction of property. According to the booking report, the man was physically resistive and destroyed property at a treatment facility. Bail: $2,500.
— A 53-year-old Carson City man was arrested Oct. 8 for suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation. According to the booking report, the man was on alternative sentencing with conditions not to be in contact with the person he had been arguing with and throwing items at a residence. Bail: $3,000 cash.
— A 51-year-old Reno woman, Charity Hart, was arrested Monday, Oct. 11 for a contempt of court warrant (DUI 3rd diversion) according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
According to the report, officers responded to Carson Tahoe Hospital for a report of an intoxicated female refusing to leave. The female identified herself and claimed to have an active warrant for her arrest.
Dispatch confirmed the warrant. A deputy placed her under arrest for the warrant. No bail hold in lieu of a hearing.
— A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, Oct. 11, for a misdemeanor failure to appear outside agency traffic warrant issued out of East Fork Justice Court. Bail: $238.
