August gaming revenue down in Carson City and Lake Tahoe, statewide figures flat
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and other areas of Douglas County except for south shore Lake Tahoe generated a "gaming win" of $11,291,275 for the month.
Elsewhere, casinos at south shore Lake Tahoe saw a gaming revenue decrease of 11.35 percent, while north shore Lake Tahoe was down 17.39 percent.
Reno and Sparks saw gaming win increase by 2.2 percent and 4.72 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,209,315,585 for the month of August 2023.
This amounts to a 0.07 percent increase compared to August 2022, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,208,526,825.
