Juvenile suffers burns at residence in north Carson City, bomb squad looks for explosives
UPDATE MONDAY: No explosives were found at the North Sutro Terrace residence and the Douglas County Bomb Squad has been released, said Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong. The road restriction has been lifted.

The Carson City Sheriff's Office is investigating a situation in the North Sutro Terrace area that began Sunday evening where a juvenile suffered non-life threatening burns to his body, according to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.
The juvenile was taken to the hospital. Upon further investigation, a Carson City Sheriff's Office deputy learned the injuries may have been caused by explosives at a residence.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad was called to the scene and are part of the investigation, said Sheriff Furlong.
The area of North Sutro Terrace has been closed off to the public for the investigation, which continues Monday morning with the Douglas County team. No explosive bomb devices have been located as of Monday morning.
