Carson City Ghost Train returns to Mills Park Oct. 30-31, tickets available Thursday
The Ghost Train is returning to Carson City from the dead. The Carson City Railroad Association, in partnership with Wild Horse Productions, will be reviving the yearly Halloween tradition of the Ghost Train at Mills Park in Carson City.
This year the Ghost Train will take riders down the rabbit hole with Alice and into the surreal world of Wonderland. Wild Horse Productions and their cast of actors of all ages will bring to life the curious and creepy characters of Wonderland including the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts — watch out or she will have your head!
The Ghost Train will run Friday, Oct. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 31.
The afternoon trains will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature a family friendly "Alice in Halloweenland" theme for all ages. The evening trains will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature a scarier "Alice in Nightmareland" theme for ages 13-plus.
This event will be following all COVID-19 related safety guidelines including social distancing and mask requirements. In order to adhere to the state’s 50-person limitation on gatherings, tickets will be very limited and will be pre-sold online for each train time.
All tickets must be purchased online prior to the day of the event. Tickets will not be sold during the event and walk-ups are not allowed.
Tickets are $5 for all ages and will go on sale Thursday, Oct. 1 at 9 a.m. Organizers anticipate that this event will sell out quickly so they recommend buying tickets asap.
