Pair arrested in Carson City as part of opioid, Fentanyl distribution ring investigation
Two were arrested and booked for multiple drug charges after a search warrant was issued earlier this month at a Carson City residence, according to the Nevada Department of Public Safety.
On Sept. 17, 2021, the Nevada Department of Public Safety Investigation Division, Tri-NET Narcotic Task Force, and the Homeland Security Investigation unit executed the search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of Sonoma Way in Carson City.
The search warrant was executed for an investigation into a suspected opioid, fentanyl distribution ring located in Northern Nevada and Fresno, Calif., according to DPS.
Following the search warrant, DPS says Luis Perez and Diana Perez were arrested and charged accordingly for alleged sales of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance for sales, and possession paraphernalia.
DPS says the investigation is ongoing, No other information is available at this time.
