Three vehicle crash reported near Carson Street and College Parkway

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 31-year-old man Wednesday for suspicion of multiple felony sex crimes with a child.

Without a doubt, Fallon Taylor Marie Montanucci’s life was inspirational and then some. She was patriotic, made others realize the importance of education, volunteered to feed those less fortunate and worked with children with speech impediments.

UPDATE 1:29PM: A chicken coop fire was knocked down by firefighters Wednesday afternoon, according to Carson City Battalion Chief Micah Horton. It is undetermined at this time if there was any livestock lost. The fire did not encroach on any other structures.

Carson City Fire Department was called Wednesday afternoon to a report of a shed on fire in the 4500 block of Ponderosa Drive near Clearview Drive.

A 35-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for alleged felony assault and domestic battery with a deadly weapon, indecent exposure in front of children and other offenses, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
