Carson City deputies make DUI, domestic battery and indecent conduct arrests over weekend
A 20-year-old Carson City woman was arrested early Saturday for suspicion of misdemeanor second DUI, driving without a valid license, no proof of insurance and violation of bail conditions.
According to the booking report, at 4:57 a.m. a deputy observed a vehicle without license plates make a quick right hand turn on East William Street and a quick left on Fleischmann Way. The officer made a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. The officer could smell an odor of alcohol coming from her person and she showed signs of possibly being under the influence.
The officer observed two open empty beer bottles behind the driver's seat and an open empty beer bottle on the front passenger floorboard. Alternative sentencing advised the woman was not to be in possession of alcoholic beverages. The officer conducted field sobriety tests to determine her level of intoxication.
She showed signs of impairment on the tests and provided a preliminary breath test of .151. She was arrested for suspicion of DUI and the other offenses. Bail amount listed: $6,429.

— A 24-year-old Carson City woman was booked Friday for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. According to the arrest report, deputies were dispatched to a residence regarding a domestic battery. The victim advised he had been punched by his ex-girlfriend multiple times in the face during a custody dispute involving their child. A witness also advised they had seen the suspect punch and slap the victim multiple times.
The suspect, who had left the scene, contacted dispatch and advised where she was. Officers met with, and interviewed her. Officers determined she was the primary aggressor. Bail: $3,137.
— A 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday in the 900 block of North Carson Street for suspicion of misdemeanor indecent conduct.
According to the booking report, a deputy observed the man urinating on a sidewalk directly in front of a motel. Bail: $242.
— A 30-year-old woman was arrested Saturday in the 3200 block of Market Street for an outside agency failure to appear warrant. Bail: $1,500 cash.
— A 35-year-old man was arrested Saturday for a probation violation warrant and petit larceny. He admitted to stealing socks and underwear at Walmart because he was homeless. Bail: $3,000 cash for the probation violation warrant.
