Carson Valley artists to open their studios for fall art tour Oct. 8-10
Plan an arts weekend getaway while enjoying the amazing fall colors in and around the beautiful Carson Valley for Oct. 8-10, 2021. Seven studios with 24 artists are featured on the free 2021 Carson Valley Art Studio Tour.
The Tour includes the studios of painter Teri Sweeney, Mixed media paintings and jewelry artist, Pam Brekas, western watercolor artist, Sheri Greves-Neilson, oil artist, Barbara Gustafson, painter La Wanna Vasick, Copper Kiln pottery Sharon Randall, watercolors by Irene Taylor, and Gardnerville Station.
Local guest artists ranging from graphite & paintings in a wide variety of media to phenomenal 3D art include: Kriss Bachofner, Kay Boulter, Kristy Dial, d’Lauren-Dana Robbins Childs, Mark Harris, Nursa Juma, Vickie Kingman, Dale Mauer, Joe Milazzo, Rin Minatozaki, Suzi Musil, Linda Townsend, Louise Noel, Amelie Reinshagen, and Mark Tompkins. All artists and their work are featured on the Tour website CVASTour.org.
The Tour website CVASTour.org includes an online map and pdf file with the studios, galleries and information and art examples for individual artists. The website also includes a schedule of special demonstrations and music features. Visit studios to become eligible for free art.
