According to the arrest report, deputies were dispatch to an apartment in the 2900 block of Menlo Drive regarding the subject with a felony warrant out of Texas. He was contacted earlier by NHP on a traffic stop and fled the stop, which led to a a vehicle pursuit.

When deputies arrived, they met a female who advised she lives in the apartment and the man was inside the apartment. The man would not come out of the apartment, according to the arrest report.

After lengthy negotiations that lasted more than three hours, he exited the residence peacefully and surrendered to deputies. He was taken into custody and is listed with a "no bail hold" awaiting extradition to Texas.

Kind Gladie Romero was arrested after deputies responded to a store for a report of a larceny. Upon arrival, deputies met with an Asset Protection Employee who had watched the woman, and remembered her from a prior incident where she concealed merchandise and walked out of the store without paying.

The employee followed her and watched as she took a Red Bull from the shelf before continuing to the toy department, where she looked around nervously before selecting a toy and concealing it in her purse. She then continued to conceal other items in her purse, the report states. She went to the self-check-out station where she did not ring up all of the items. The employee confronted her about the unpaid items and escorted her to the Asset Protection Office to await deputies.

Deputies read the woman her Miranda rights and asked if she wanted to speak about the incident. She said there was nothing to talk about. Deputies asked to see her bag and she said no. Deputies called for a K9 unit to respond.

However, as deputies were writing Romero a citation for petit larceny, she agreed to let them search her purse. Inside, deputies found a black handbag with a combination lock. Deputies popped the lock after Romero admitted to having heroin inside.

Deputies located a small white container with heroin inside, and a second small purple container contained a small amount of white crystalline substance that is consistent with methamphetamine. Also inside the handbag they located syringes, cotton swabs and a spoon with burn marks. She was taken into custody without incident. Bail: $6,489.

Deputies responded to the location on report of an unwanted person. On arrival, deputies met with the resident who said he had brought a woman home from the bar and that she would not leave. He told deputies the woman was in the bed in the master bedroom.

Deputies told the woman the man didn’t want her at his residence anymore and that she needed to leave. She told deputies “No,” and refused to move. Deputies told her again that she needed to get dressed and leave the residence. The woman used expletives against the deputies multiple times.

Deputies determined the woman needed to be escorted from the residence by deputies. They obtained a blanket from the man to cover the woman once she was placed into custody.

Deputies told the woman once more to leave. She sat up in the bed, cursed, then walked up and punched a deputy in the chest, according to the report. The woman resisted arrest. Deputies were eventually able to gain control of her left arm, and placed her in handcuffs, covered her with a blanket to protect her decency and she was taken to jail. Bail: $2,912.
