Douglas County Sheriff’s Office seeking public’s assistance in Topsy Lane Theft
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying persons involved in a robbery at the Topsy Lane Walmart.
On August 5, 2021, at approximately 12:45 pm, a purse theft was committed at Trader Joe’s. The suspects left Trader Joe’s and entered Walmart.
At Walmart the suspects used the stolen credit cards from the purse, and shortly after, the victim of the purse theft confronted the suspects but was unable to stop them from fleeing.
There are three suspects which are all described as males, average height and medium builds. All three suspect were wearing face masks and hat which obscured their faces.
The suspects were possibly driving a newer model Ford Explorer with an unknown California temporary license plate.
The suspects stole approximately $3,000 in cash and a wallet with numerous credit cards.
