Carson City Panera to open in October; currently hiring for 60 positions
The new Carson City Panera will officially open in the beginning of October following some build delays.
According to a spokesperson for Panera, the estimated opening is set for Oct. 10, but it has not been finalized at this time.
The chain originally announced their new location in south Carson City on Highway 50 back in 2019 as the new shopping center that now contains Chic-Fil-A and Dutch Bros, among other stores, was first breaking ground.

In addition, Panera is currently hiring for a staff of approximately 60. As the first of five Panera locations in the region, it will become the central core store where managers will be trained.
According to the spokesperson, Panera offers benefits as well as education grants for college.

Panera is already searching for local non-profits to partner with for donation campaigns, such as providing unsold bread at the end of the day and non-profits for their "Change for Children" campaign, which will provide monetary help for children within our local region in the form of backpacks, school supplies, and more.
