Carson City School Board meets tonight to discuss staff safety protocols, breakfast in the classroom and more
Today, Tuesday Aug. 11, the Carson City School Board will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. in the Sierra Room of the Community Center. Among the items for discussion includes pass/fail data for the 4th quarter of the 2019/2020 school year, an informational update on staff safety protocols on returning to school, breakfast in the classroom and more.
A discussion and proposed changes will be held regarding Carson City School District (CCSD) Regulation 525, which relates to student conduct and discipline.
A presentation on pass/fail data for the fourth quarter of the 2019-2020 school year will be held for discussion only.
An information update on the nutrition program in the CCSD will be held to include Breakfast in the Classroom.
An informational update and discussion on staff safety protocols and returning to school will be held.
Discussion and possible action will be held regarding courses approved for dual credit in the CCSD in accordance with NRS 389.160.
Discussion and possible action will be held regarding the Nevada Association of School Boards’ nominations to be considered for recognition during the 2020 annual conference.
K-12 classes will resume on Monday, Aug. 24.
Pre-K classes will resume on Monday, Aug. 31.
There will be no school held on Monday, Sept. 7 for the Labor Day holiday.
