South Lake Tahoe Police ask for public's help locating man reported missing
The South Lake Tahoe Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a man who has been reported missing by family members.
Alexander Farquhar Mackenzie, 35, was last seen leaving his parents’ house in Salinas, Calif. Mackenzie told his parents that he was going to South Lake Tahoe to study.
Mackenzie emptied his bank account and turned in his rental car in South Lake Tahoe, and was believed to be living in “the woods” at an unknown location. Mackenzie was reported missing after not having contact with his parents.
He is not wanted for any crimes and is not believed to be in any specific danger at this time, according to South Lake Tahoe police.
Mackenzie is a white male adult, 5 feet 9 inches, weighs 190 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.
