Denise Frohlich appointed deputy director of Nevada Governor’s Office of Energy
CARSON CITY — The Nevada Governor’s Office of Energy is pleased to announce the appointment of Denise Frohlich as deputy director.
“I am so pleased to bring Denise on to our team to run the day-to-day operations of the agency,” GOE Director David Bobzien said. “Her organizational leadership experience will be invaluable in support of our staff and our mission to ensure wise development of energy resources in Nevada.”
With 14 years of public service experience in state government, local government and academia, Deputy Director Frohlich will lead GOE’s program management staff and ensure smooth agency operations.
“I already feel at home in my new role at GOE, and I am thrilled to share my knowledge and expertise with this wonderful team in service of our mission and all Nevadans,” Deputy Director Frohlich said.
Most recently, Deputy Director Frohlich served as interim administrator for the Nevada Grant Office and deputy administrator for Nevada State Library, Archives and Public Records. As interim administrator for the Grant Office, she led and prepared the office through its transition from the Department of Administration to the Governor’s Office.
Additionally, she is an adjunct instructor in Western Nevada College's Organization and Project Management program. Prior to state service, she served in leadership roles in several higher education institutions in both Nevada and Texas. She holds a Master of Science in Leadership and Project Management from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in Adelphi University.
