Carson City Humane Society's Pets of the Week: Sir Newton, Lord Leonard, and Lord Rock of Rochester
Happy Wednesday Carson City! We have a special Pet(s) of the Week showcase this week, with three pets total making the spotlight!
Say hello to Sir Newton, Lord Leonard, and Lord Rock of Rochester.
Sir Newton and Lord Leonard are a bonded pair of male mice who love to run on their wheel and munch on snacks. They are able to be handled, are still a bit skittish, but incredibly fun to watch as they go about their day!
Lord Rock of Rochester is a 2-year-old male Guinea Pig, who is a shy boy who absolutely loves munching on carrots. He will allow people to hold him, but needs a bit of time to gain trust with his handler.
Both sets of animals have been in the custody of the Nevada Humane Society for some time, and need to find their forever homes!
If you’re interested in adopting one (or both!) sets of cuties, you can stop by the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society located at 549 Airport Road in Carson City. The facility is open daily, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Pet of the week is sponsored by the Carson City Senior Center. They provide services, nutrition, resources and support for seniors including Nevada Care Connection program seniors and individuals with disabilities.
