Carson City arrests: Two jailed for Douglas County drug-related warrants
A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday in the area of Winnie and Carson streets for a felony warrant issued out of East Fork Township Court in Douglas County alleging felony drug sales, a sheriff's deputy report states.
Brandon Kyle Ledford was taken into custody Wednesday, 9:26 p.m. Bail: $75,000.
In other arrests:
— An 18-year-old Carson City woman was arrested early Thursday morning for a felony warrant out of East Fork Township Court in Douglas County alleging conspiracy to violate the uniform Controlled Substance Act.
Kathleen Kelly Mcgowan was taken into custody at 2:20 a.m. According to the arrest report, a deputy made a traffic stop after observing a vehicle with its driver side tail light out.
The deputy made contact with the driver and sole occupant, Mcgowan. A check through wants and warrants was conducted. The officer was advised the woman had a felony warrant out of Douglas County alleging conspiracy to violate the Uniformed Controlled Substance Act. The woman was taken into custody. Bail: $30,000.
In other arrests:
— A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Thursday for a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant out of Reno, driving on a revoked license, driving an unregistered vehicle, and not having proof of insurance. Bail: $2,986.
