Carson City firefighters called to small fire near seafood section at Save Mart South
Carson City Fire Department was called Thursday morning to a small fire at Save Mart grocery store on South Carson Street.
Dispatch toned out multiple fire units at around 10:23 a.m to the store at 4348 South Carson Street. The fire was reportedly in the seafood counter section and was believed to be electrical in nature, dispatch was told via a store employee.
Circuit breakers were cut in the section. The initial report to dispatch was there were flames at the seafood counter, the flames went out and then reappeared.
Arriving firefighters on scene report the fire was extinguished upon arrival and that shoppers were going about their business.
