Sand Harbor boat ramp at Lake Tahoe to close Sunday for season due to low water level
INCLINE VILLAGE — Because of low water levels at Lake Tahoe, Nevada State Parks announced Wednesday that it will close the Sand Harbor boat ramp for the season as of 8 p.m. Sunday, July 18.
This closure will prevent boats from being damaged during launching and will also protect the end of launch lanes from harm. The parking lot will remain open for non-motorized, carry-in boat access. Power boaters should use other launch ramps at Lake Tahoe. Please visit tahoeboatinspections.com, or call the park at 777-831-0494, for further information.
Sand Harbor Boat Ramp is located 3 miles south of Incline Village on Highway 28.
