Issuance and Mailing of 2024-2025 Real Property Tax Bills for Carson City

The Carson City Treasurer’s Office is announcing that the real property tax bills for Carson City, Nevada are now ready for the new tax year of 2024-2025, which runs from Monday, July 1, 2024, through Monday, June 30, 2025.

Property owners should begin to receive their property tax bills in the mail within the next 20 days, and any property owner who does not receive a property tax bill by Wednesday, 7/31/24, should contact the Carson City Treasurer’s Office at 775-887-2092 to receive a duplicate tax bill.

Nevada law sets the due dates when property owners must pay their property taxes, and if a property owner’s tax bill is more than $100, the property owner can make the tax payments in four installments between August 2024 and March 2025. The four due dates set by Nevada law for this current tax year will be:

1st Installment: Monday, 8/19/24 (the third Monday of August 2024)
2nd Installment: Monday, 10/7/24 (the first Monday of October 2024)
3rd Installment: Monday, 1/6/25 (the first Monday of January 2025)
4th Installment: Monday, 3/3/25 (the first Monday of March 2025)

Property owners can make payments for their property taxes through any of the following options:

• Online at https://carsoncitynv.devnetwedge.com/
• Online bill-pay through your bank (please be sure to include your entire parcel number and address)
• By telephone: 888-837-9291 (follow the voice prompts)
• In-person or by mail:
Carson City Treasurer’s Office
201 N. Carson Street, Suite 5
Carson City, Nevada 89701
• Green payment box located on the east side of City Hall, 201 N. Carson Street, Carson City, Nevada 89701

The Carson City Treasurer’s Office reminds all property owners to verify if they have a mortgage lender or mortgage impound account that makes the property tax payments on behalf of the property owner or if the property owner has the responsibility to make the timely payment for all property taxes owed. In addition, the Carson City Treasurer’s Office advises property owners that if they previously had a mortgage lender that made their property tax payments for them, and the property owner has since paid off the mortgage, the property owner is now responsible for making the timely property tax payments. If a property owner has questions, or did not receive a tax bill and need a copy, the property owner can contact the Carson City Treasurer’s Office at 775-887-2092 or at treasurer@carson.org.
