Carson City Sheriff: Explosion, vehicle fire at apartment complex considered suspicious
Carson City Sheriff’s Office detectives and fire Investigators are on scene Wednesday morning at a Brown Street apartment where multiple vehicles were burned in a fire that is being considered as suspicious.
Multiple calls came into 911 dispatch at around 3:55 a.m. regarding an explosion at a large apartment complex that was heard and a car on fire in the 1700 block of Brown Street, said Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong. By the time firefighters and sheriff's deputies arrived on scene there were multiple cars burning.
The incident is being investigated as having suspicious origins. Damages assessment immediately following the fire was four vehicles. No injuries have been reported, said Sheriff Furlong.
