Nevada's water resources division to hold statewide 'listening sessions' through summer
The Nevada State Engineer will hold a series of public meetings during the months of July and August. These “listening sessions” will provide information to the public on water related issues in Nevada and to listen to any and all comments, suggestions and questions from the public about water related issues.
The Carson City meeting will be Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bryan Building (NDWR Office), Tahoe Hearing Room, 2nd Floor, 901 S. Stewart Street.
The sessions will be held at the following times and locations:
— Monday, July 28, 2014 - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pershing County Courthouse, Commission Chambers, 400 Main Street, Lovelock
— Tuesday, July 29, 2014 - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nannini Administration Building, County Commissioner Chambers, 540 Court Street, Elko
— Wednesday, July 30, 2014 - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. White Pine County Library Meeting Room, 950 Campton Street, Ely
— Thursday, July 31, 2014 - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Lincoln County Courthouse, Commissioner Chambers, 181 North Main Street, Pioche
— Tuesday, August 5, 2014 - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Grant Sawyer Building, Room 1100, 555 East Washington Avenue, Las Vegas
— Thursday, August 7, 2014 - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. County Commission Chambers, 101 Radar Road, Tonopah.
