Carson City arrests: Man enters vehicle without owner consent; found with credit cards that were not his

A 33-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for suspicion of felony obtaining a credit card without owner consent among other alleged offenses, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office report.
Robert Castro was arrested at 8:36 p.m. He also was booked for suspicion of obstructing a peace officer and entering a vehicle without owner consent, both misdemeanor offenses.
During the investigation, deputies learned the suspect entered a vehicle without permission. The suspect told deputies he napped in the vehicle and didn't take anything out of the vehicle.
He allowed a deputy to search his person for any possible stolen items. The man, who provided deputies a name that was later learned wasn't his own name, was found to be in possession of four credit cards from four different owners, the report states.
He was asked why he was in possession of credit cards that didn't belong to him. The man told deputies the owners allowed him use the cards because they owed him money, the report states. One of the credit card owners was contacted and stated the suspect didn't have permission to use his credit card and stated he wanted to press charges. Bail: $6,549.
In other arrests:
— A 28-year-old Fallon woman was arrested early Wednesday in the area of Washington and Plaza streets for two misdemeanor failure to appear warrants issued August and November 2019. Bail: $1,530 cash.
