Residents from a Carson City apartment complex were evacuated Saturday morning due to an ongoing threat from a resident suffering a mental health crisis.
The issue started before 8 a.m. on Saturday and residents were evacuated around 10:30 a.m. from the complex on the corner of Saliman and 5th.
The man barricaded himself inside of his apartment and was throwing things at deputies and “digging into his wall” earlier this morning.
Sheriff Ken Furlong stated there is no threat to the public outside of the complex, but that the man is in severe crisis.
