The main branch of Nevada Highway Patrol in Reno has been closed as of Monday until further notice because of toxic fumes, according to NHP.
Due to electronic malfunctions and off-gassing of server batteries that have emitted toxic fumes, the Reno office is closed, said Trooper Dave Gibson. In-person services are being redirected to the Carson City NHP Office in the Carson City Sheriff's Office building, 911 Musser Street.
If you need to contact NHP Reno Office for any business over the phone can call the Carson City office at (775) 684-7381.
For any emergencies needs you can contact the Department of Public Safety Dispatch Center at (775) 687-0400. Again the NHP Reno Office will be closed for business until further notice. NHP patrol troopers will still be conducting business as usual patrolling the highway.
