Carson City sheriff's deputies make DUI, drug and warrant arrests over weekend
Two were arrested Sunday for felony warrants issued out of Mineral County, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
Jessica Elaine Libbee was taken into custody for two felony warrants (probation violation and failure to appear), parole and probation violation and misdemeanor obstruction. She was held without bail in lieu of hearing. James Robinson was also booked for a felony warrant issued April 28, 2022 out of Mineral County. Bail: $10,000.
In other arrests:
— A 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday in the area of East Fifth and North Roop for suspicion of DUI and disobedience to a traffic control device.
According to the booking report, deputies responded to a vehicle crash at the intersection. A deputy made contact with the at-fault driver who admitted to running the red light at the intersection and drinking an alcoholic beverage. He provided a preliminary breath test of .100 and was arrested. Bail: $1,224.
— A 24-year-old Dayton man was arrested early Saturday for suspicion of DUI, disobeying a traffic control device and failure to maintain a lane. According to the arrest report, a deputy observed a vehicle run a stop sign on Telegraph and Fall Street.
The officer observed the man's driving pattern, in which he failed to maintain a lane, nearly hitting a curb. The deputy made a traffic stop and spoke with the man, who had red watery eyes, slurred speech and had an odor of alcohol. The man participated in field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment. He provided a preliminary breath test of .189 and was arrested. Bail amount listed: $1,311.
— A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday for a misdemeanor failure to comply warrant issued out of Sparks Justice Court. Bail: $1,000 cash only.
— A 19-year-old Carson City man, John Olvera II, was arrested Sunday for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of bail conditions. Bail: $6,637.
— Three were arrested Monday for suspicion of a controlled substance, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
John Davis and Joseph Clark, both of Silver Springs, and Gage Parriette of Carson City were arrested at 5:58 p.m. for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office deputy. Clark was also booked for suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $2,500 each.
— A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday for suspicion of misdemeanor driving with a suspended registration, driving on a suspended license and a misdemeanor contempt warrant issued out of Fernley Municipal Court. Bail: $1,249.
— A 26-year-old Carson City woman, Andrea Rae Griffis, was arrested Friday for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $3,637.
— A 30-year-old Carson City woman was arrested early Tuesday morning for suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing. Bail: $242.
