Happening Tonight: Blinky Man returns to Carson City streets Saturday Night
One of Carson City’s favorite bike-themed events will be returning to the capital city streets tonight: Blinky Man!
The pub crawl/bike tour/costumed event is a summer favorite for Carsonites, who dress up both themselves as well as their bikes with silly costumes and twinkle lights, generally accompanied by a loud moving speaker blasting tunes to keep energies high as riders cruise through town.
There is no cost to attend and all are welcome. What started as an event with only 50 people quickly grew to hundreds over the last 15 years.
So pump up those tires, wear a helmet, and turn on your twinkle lights and glow sticks for Blinky Man in Carson City happening tonight, Saturday June 19.
The schedule for the evening is as follows:
Those who wish to join the ride will meet at the Westside Pour House at 6:30 p.m. and leave at 7:15 p.m.
From there, riders will cruise to the Governor’s Mansion and a photo will be taken of the group beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Then, riders will pedal off to the Tap at Rice Street at 7:45 p.m.
The group will then ride to the Fox’s Den at 8:45 p.m.
Next, riders will continue to Remedy’s at 10 p.m.
The final stop for the night will be at Living the Good Life, arriving at 11:15 p.m.
