Couple face charges after alleged indecent exposure incident at a Carson City park
A Carson City woman and a South Lake Tahoe man were arrested Thursday and face charges including indecent exposure, disorderly conduct and obstruction, after witnesses reported inappropriate behavior at Mills Park near the playground.
Lisa Maria Ferguson, 41, faces charges of gross misdemeanor indecent exposure and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. She is being held on $2,737 bail. Abel Perez Jr., 28, of South Lake Tahoe, faces disorderly conduct and obstruction charges. Both are misdemeanors. His bail was set at $744.
A witness reported the alleged inappropriate behavior and told deputies that he saw the woman exposed under a tree within 75 feet of the playground, according to the arrest report. Deputies made contact with the visibly intoxicated woman, who denied any wrongdoing.
While speaking with the deputies, Perez Jr., who was also intoxicated, began to interrupted and told the woman not to speak with authorities, according to the arrest report. Perez began to swear at the deputy several times and was warned repeatedly to stop interfering with the investigation.
According to the arrest report, Perez told the officer "F*** Off Pig" and called the deputy a "dirty F****** pig" according to the arrest report. There were several young children under the age of 10 years old and their parents at the playground who watched the confrontation, reported at around 2:55 in the afternoon.
A parent also advised that she witnessed Ferguson exposed. Both were arrested. Once at the jail, Perez became uncooperative and was escorted to a cell where he banged windows with his foot and shoes and continued to verbally abuse deputies, according to the arrest report.
