Carson City deputies make felony and misdemeanor arrests
A 33-year-old man was arrested Friday for felony probation violation and other charges, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Todd Rudolph Paluck was arrested Friday, 1:27 p.m. in the 200 block of north Curry Street for felony suspicion parole and probation violation, and three misdemeanors: possession of drug paraphernalia, an alternative sentencing violation and a bench warrant issued out of Douglas County.
According to the arrest report, the man had several baggies, a scale and two bottles of a yellow substance, believed to be urine, in his vehicle. The man admitted using drug-free urine when having to provide samples for the Department of Alternative Sentencing.
Bail: $5,137 on the misdemeanor charges; no bail hold in lieu of hearing for the felony parole and probation violation.
In other arrests:
— A 47-year-old Carson City woman, Christie Leeann Torvik, was arrested Friday, 8:37 a.m. at a Highway 50 East casino for a felony warrant alleging possession of a controlled substance, and three misdemeanor warrants: violation of suspended sentence and two failure to appear in traffic court warrants. Bail: $3,890.
— A 20-year-old Carson City woman, Elizabeth Lavelle, was arrested Thursday, 9:39 p.m. in the 1700 block of Russell for felony possession of a controlled substance warrant and violation of parole and probation. She’s being held without bail in lieu of a hearing.
— A 28-year-old Carson City man was booked Friday, 11:11 a.m. in the 2000 block of College Parkway for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued June 5 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
— A 58-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 11:24 p.m. in the area of Tiger Drive for misdemeanor warrants of contempt of court and failure to appear. Bail: $800.
— A 34-year-old Carson City woman was booked into Carson City jail on Friday, 11:45 a.m. for two misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued in March of this year and a failure to appear warrant issued May 17, 2017 out of Pershing County. Bail: $654.
— A 28-year-old Silver Springs man was arrested Friday, 8:39 a.m. in the area of Imperial Way and Silver Oak Drive for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 30-year-old transient woman was booked into jail Friday, 8:29 a.m. for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
