No cost pet adoptions in Nevada this Friday, Saturday as part of Maddie's Pet Adoption Days
Looking for the love of your life? Hundreds of dogs and cats are waiting for you at local animal shelters and rescue groups in Nevada, where pet adoptions will be free Friday and Saturday, June 14-15 during Maddie's Pet Adoption Days. All adoption fees are waived for pets going to loving new homes thanks to a grant from Dave and Cheryl Duffield Foundation.
“This is the third time we’ve held this statewide, free pet adoption event — we successfully held it twice last year,” said Kimberly Wade, campaign manager of Maddie's Pet Project in Nevada. “Standard adoption policies still apply, and the cool thing is that we’ll reimburse animal organizations $200 for every cat or dog they adopt during the event, so they’re able to waive their normal adoption fees for all pets going to loving, new homes.”

Maddie's Pet Adoption Days is part of a statewide campaign, Maddie's Pet Project in Nevada, that aims to elevate the status and well-being of cats and dogs across the state through partnerships that increase adoptions from animal shelters and improve access to veterinary care in underserved areas.
