Carson City Symphony Pops Party moves to Brewery Arts Center due to windy conditions
Due to windy conditions, Carson City Symphony is moving its Pops Party concert scheduled for Sunday evening, 6 p.m., to the Brewery Arts Center ballroom, 449 W. King Street in Carson City.
The Carson City Symphony, led by David Bugli, will be joined on the program by the Carson Chamber Singers, led by director Ricky Hutton, singer-songwriter Kevin Milburn, and a zampoña (Peruvian pan flute) ensemble with Kantu Inka.
The program includes show tunes, Sousa marches, pops music, and Kevin Milburn’s original songs, arranged for orchestra by David Bugli.
The Carson Chamber Singers will sing Dos Oruguitas from Disney's "Encanto" by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Down by the Riverside arranged by John Rutter, and Homeland by Gustav Holst.
