Douglas investigators seek identity of pair sought for burglary, credit card theft at trailhead
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to identify suspects involved in a vehicle burglary and the fraudulent use of a credit card.
During the day on May 24, 2021 a vehicle was broken into at the Cave Rock trailhead. A purse with several credit cards was stolen. A short time later, the stolen credit cards were used at the Walmart and Target in Northern Douglas County.

The first suspect is a black male adult with short hair. The second suspect is a black female adult with long braided hair. Both of the suspects appear to have distinctive hand and wrist tattoos.
All other leads have been exhausted in this case and Sheriff’s Office is now seeking the public’s assistance.
