Italian Feed fundraiser gives a taste of Italy to Governor's Mansion in Carson City
Participants helped themselves to an Italian feast during the Italian Feed fundraiser at the Governor’s Mansion’s Nevada Room on Friday, May 31.
Each ticket went toward a fundraiser for The Do Drop In day center and The Rural Center for Independent Living (RCIL) to help benefit Carson City’s homeless.
Paid attendees were treated to a three-course meal which included a large garden salad and bountiful amounts of tasty garlic bread for appetizers.
During the dinner portion of the meal, participants had their choice of spaghetti with meat sauce, lasagna and chicken fettuccine Alfredo.
Once dessert rolled around, an assortment of cookies, cupcakes and slices of cake helped top-off a delicious meal.
Live music from Hickory Switch, raffle prizes, silent auctions and a wine bottle toss added even more excitement to a jam-packed night that supports a good cause.
