Midnight Madness adult slow-pitch event takes place at Centennial Park in Carson City
Hosted by All World Sports, Midnight Madness begins its All Night Tournaments with an adult slow-pitch event from May 25-27 at Centennial Park in Carson City.
Midnight Madness is an around-the-clock adult slow-pitch tournament played in Sacramento, California and Carson City, Nevada. A youth baseball tournament will take place at Centennial Park from June 21-23.
A home run derby and hitting contest is scheduled to take place tonight at 6 p.m. After the derby, registered members and teams will take the field at midnight to begin the adult slow-pitch tournament.
A $10 three-day pass will be offered for any interested participants.
Several slow-pitch members have already set up tents, RVs and outdoor games to kick-off the tournament.
“We come out here early to get a head start on the weekend,” adult slow-pitch member Joel Swartzlander said. “It’s about getting a good spot for parking and making new friends in the process.”
Centennial Park is located at 3666 Centennial Park Dr. in Carson City. For more information, visit the Midnight Madness official website here.
