While many people enjoy three days off through Labor Day this weekend, the locomotives and their volunteer crews at the Nevada State Railroad Museum (NSRM) are going full-steam ahead.

When I open a document and see a grid full of data that I am tasked to make sense of, I immediately want to go hide under a rock.

Okay, maybe not quite that dramatic, but too much information all at once can cause a certain amount of angst.

UPDATE: 01:30PM: According to Carson City Dispatch, the smoke seen coming from the apartment was from a pot left on the stove. There was no fire.

The Carson City Fire Department is on scene of a reported structure fire at a three-story apartment complex in the 600 block of College Parkway near Retail and Emerson drives.

The Carson Victory Rollers, Carson City's own hometown roller derby team, will play the Lockford Liberators Saturday afternoon, Sept. 1 in a bout doubleheader at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William Street in Carson City.
