Carson City Humane Society’s Pet of the Week: India
Happy Thursday, Carson City! What’re your plans for this weekend? Because I know a girl who loves to spend time with people and would make a great weekend movie binging bestie!
Say hello (or hola!) to India.
India is a six-year-old, German shepherd mix that is one unique dog. India is bi-lingual and understands both Spanish and English commands! We have even noticed that if she is a feeling a bit shy, speaking Spanish helps to sooth her.
She can go home with kids over the age of 10 and other dogs as long as they are able to meet first. India prefers to be able to warm up to any other dogs living in the home first, but once they have become well acquainted; she does not mind having another dog as a friend.
If you are looking for a smart dog with some unique qualities, come to the Carson City Shelter and ask to meet India. She could be the addition to your home that you have been missing.
Let’s hear from India herself:
“I am India and I am searching for my Furever home. While I may seem shy at first, once I am able to warm up, I will make a great friend. I love a good game of tug-of-war, and will never pass on the opportunity to test your skills. I also love to be outdoors, but if you rather hang out and watch movies, I will be your best movie buff. If you are looking for a new best friend, and someone to be your companion, come meet me today!”
You can meet India by visiting the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society located at 549 Airport Road in Carson City, or by calling (775) 887-2171 to find out more.
