Carson City arrests: Driver booked for felony false identification, eluding
A 24-year-old man was arrested Wednesday for alleged felony false identification and misdemeanor eluding, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team report.
Jackson Rugama was taken into custody at 6:07 p.m. in the area of East 5th Street and Warm Springs Court.
According to the booking report, the driver eluded officers who attempted to make a traffic stop. Once stopped, deputies checked his wallet for identification, where an unsigned social security card was located. The card was checked through dispatch and determined that it belonged to another person. Bail: $6,137.
In other arrests:
— A 53-yer-old Carson City woman, Stacey Ruthann Vanpelt, was arrested Wednesday for a felony warrant alleging fraudulent use of a credit card and misdemeanor theft. Bail: $2,500.
— A 36-year-old man was booked Wednesday into Carson City Jail for a misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000 cash.
