'Murder at the House of Dolls' Premieres at Piper’s Opera House tonight, runs through May
Historic Piper’s Opera House in Virginia City, Nevada, is bringing the arts alive with the upcoming murder mystery production of, “Murder at the House of Dolls,” presented by the Piper’s Players premiering tonight, April 30, 2021 and running through mid-May.
Directed by Jen Hunt, “Murder at the House of Dolls” is the story of the House of Dolls, a reputable Burlesque dance hall in 1930s New York City. The story follows owner Damien Quinn and a wealthy patron, Adam Oakes, who uses his power and influence to dictate events. Secrets must be kept hidden when turmoil and mystery ensues.

Starting Feb. 15, general admission tickets are $30 and are available online at PipersOperaHouse.com. Box seating is $150 per box and accommodates up to four people. Both boxes are available per show and come with a complimentary bottle of wine. All shows are 18 and older.

The performance will follow current guidelines in place at the time including requiring all to wear masks and follow proper distance. Ticket sales are limited to 75 per show to accommodate guidelines. A cash bar is provided.
Piper’s Players is a non-profit, free community theater group that call Piper’s Opera House home. The group provides acting opportunities for the rural and local communities around Virginia City, Nevada.
