Statewide March gaming revenue up nearly 27 percent, Carson City area casinos down slightly
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County expect for south shore Lake Tahoe, had gaming generated revenue of $11,768,379 for the month, compared to $11,977,460 in March 2021, down 1.75 percent.
Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,355,229,902 for the month of March 2022. This amounts to a 26.83 percent increase compared to March 2021, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,068,515,073. For the fiscal year (July 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022), gaming win has increased 51.70 percent.
Elsewhere, casinos at south shore Lake Tahoe saw a "gaming win" increase of 5.58 percent for the month. Casinos in Reno and Washoe County also saw gains, while Las Vegas strip casinos had the biggest jump of 48.84 percent.
