Carson City sheriff's deputies make DUI, warrant related arrests
A 40-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for suspicion of misdemeanor DUI, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
According to the report a CCSO deputy made a traffic stop at 9:21 p.m. for a vehicle that was driving without its lights on.
The deputy attempted to pull over thee driver when the vehicle stopped in the intersection on Musser Street and North Carson Street, blocking access to Musser Street, the report states.
The deputy made contact with the driver who and observed glossy, watery eyes. The driver said he didn't realize he didn't have his lights on. He was asked if he had been drinking. He said he had three beers, the report states.
He provided the deputy with a Norway driver's license. He performed standardized field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment on the tests. He provided a preliminary breath test of .081 and was arrested for suspicion of DUI. At jail he provided two evidentiary tests, with results of .101 and .053. Bail: $1,137.
In other arrests:
— A 55-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday for possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts violation of bail conditions, all misdemeanor offenses. Bail: $6,000 cash.
— A 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday for a misdemeanor warrant alleging violation of a domestic violence temporary protection order. Bail: $5,000.
— A 22-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Tuesday for a failure to appear warrant issued out of Western Regional Drug Court. No bail hold.
