Lyon County Sheriff's Office asks for public's help finding missing woman

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a missing woman who has health problems and developmental disabilities.

On Monday, April 26, Lyon County Sheriff’s Office deputies took a missing person report for Amber Rupp, 38. She left her home on April 24, 2021, during the evening hours and has not been seen by her caretaker since. Amber is known to frequent restaurants or gas stations and may ask for a ride out of the area.

She was last seen in Fernley on April 24, 2021. Amber is described as a white female adult, 5’08” in height and 140 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes. If she is seen, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at (775) 463-6620.
