Nevada's unemployment rate continues downward trend in March, Carson City at 3 percent
Nevada's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 5 percent in March 2022, which decreased by 0.1 percent from February 2022, according to the state's Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation’s March 2022 economic report.
Seasonally adjusted estimates account for regularly seen economic patterns, with the following estimates not seasonally adjusted, according to DETR.
In the three Metropolitan Statistical Areas, the unemployment rates were 5 percent in the Las Vegas area, 2.6 percent in Reno, and 3 percent in the Carson City area in March 2022.
In February, Carson City's unemployment was 3.2 percent, Reno, 2.8 percent and 5.3 percent in Las Vegas.
In Nevada’s counties, the lowest unemployment rate was in Eureka County at 1.4 percent, and Clark County had the highest rate at 5 percent. For a look at the individual county unemployment rate go here.
