California murder prompts Amber Alert for teen, suspects driving white BMW with Nevada plates
UPDATE: The Amber Alert issued Thursday morning was canceled Thursday evening for Nevada, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. Authorities said the suspect's cell phone was used near the Mexico border.

An Amber Alert was issued late Thursday morning for a California teenager after authorities learned she was last seen with her mother and a man who are suspects in a Los Angeles County murder investigation. The suspects are believed to be driving a vehicle with Nevada personalized license plates.
The couple are considered "armed and dangerous" according to the Amber Alert, which reached cell phone customers throughout Nevada. The vehicle is a 2013 white 4-door BMW sedan with Nevada License Plate personalized: MARIMAR.
The teen girl, Alora Benitez, 15, was last seen around 9 a.m. on Wednesday in Torrance, Calif. She was seen with her mother, Maricela Mercado, 40, and Roman Cerratos, 39, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The pair are suspects in a Tuesday night homicide in Carson, Calif. The victim was found dead in the front seat of a white Audi near a business district in the Southern California town, according to ABC News.
