Carson City Fire Department knock down small brush fire near Classy Seconds
Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called late Sunday evening to the area of Brown and Gordon streets for a report of a brush fire.
The call came into dispatch shortly after 11:20 p.m. regarding a fire burning in brush that began to spread to other bushes in the area.
Carson City Fire Department personnel arriving on scene reported around a 10 foot by 20 foot fire burning near the Classy Seconds thrift store.
No structures were threatened and firefighters worked quickly to get it extinguished. The fire was knocked down at 11:32 p.m. The cause is under investigation.
