A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Monday for suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and suspicion of misdemeanor assault constituting domestic violence, a sheriff's booking report states.
Caedron Douglas was taken into custody at 2:45 a.m. According to the booking report, deputies responded to a report of a male threatening a member of his household with a sword.
Deputies arrived on scene and located the male suspect sitting in front of the residence on the curb with his head in his hands and a samurai sword in the gutter a few feet away, the report states.
A deputy spoke with the suspect who identified himself.
