Carson City Sheriff's arrest log: Woman booked on multiple felony drug offenses
A 44 year-old Carson City woman was arrested Friday afternoon at 4:53 p.m. in the area of North Harbin and Kimberly Court on multiple drug-related felonies, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy said, including two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription.
According to the report, Debra Tridigo was taken into custody following a traffic stop of her vehicle for failing to come to a complete stop. Upon making contact with the driver, Tridigo, the sheriff's deputy noticed she was visibly nervous and her hands were shaking.
She had a male passenger who was later found to be in felony violation of the terms of his parole and probation.
A K-9 unit was called in to conduct an exterior sniff of the suspect's vehicle, and a positive alert was shown. The vehicle's interior was searched and an open alcohol container was found, the report said.
Deputies also searched Tridigo, finding a small bag containing a clear crystal-like substance, suspected as methamphetamine. Tridigo also admitted to having another bag of meth in her pants, the report said. Substances found on Tridigo tested presumptive positive for meth
In addition, prescription Xanax pills not prescribed to the suspect were found in the search.
Tridigo was placed in handcuffs and transported to the Carson City Jail for booking. Bail: $2,500.
The male passenger, 54 year-old Donald Scherer of Carson City, was also arrested and booked into the Carson City Jail for violating the terms of his Nevada Parole and Probation as well as Carson City Department of Alternative Sentencing (DAS) conditions, which stipulated he was not permitted to be with others who are using substances. Bail: None.
In other arrests:
— A 22 year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday night at 7:29 p.m. in the 1900 block of North Carson Street for felony possession of controlled substance as well as misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and riding his bicycle on the sidewalk, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy said.
According to the report, Joshua Hackle was taken into custody following a traffic stop for riding his bicycle on the sidewalk.
Upon making conduct with Hackle, the sheriff's deputy observed behaviors consistent with being under the influence of methamphetamine. The suspect consented to a search of his person and belongings, the report said.
A trace amount of suspected meth was found and later tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine. A suspected meth pipe, marijuana pipe and a second drug container were also found among Hackle's belongings.
Hackle was handcuffed and transported to the Carson City Jail, where he was booked. Bail: $2,500.
