Lyon County Sheriff's Office seeks pair in early morning armed robbery of Silver Springs casino
The Lyon County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened early Wednesday morning at Silver Strike Casino in Silver Springs.
Two armed men wearing masks entered the casino at around 4 a.m. and took an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving westbound on Highway 50, according to LCSO.
The suspects left the casino driving in a white colored GMC type SUV heading westbound on Highway 50. Deputies believe they headed over USA Parkway towards Interstate 80.
One of the subjects was wearing a black hoodie; blue mask; blue pants; and blue latex type gloves. He was carrying a semi-automatic handgun.
The other subject was wearing a black jacket; gray sweatshirt; white N95 type mask; and black Vans type shoes. The men were described as white or possibly Hispanic.
The vehicle is described as a GMC type SUV with a roof rack and tinted windows. Detectives are currently working on photos and video surveillance.
