Naomi Irion’s murder revealed to be by gunshots, suspect accused of destroying evidence
An amended criminal complaint was filed Tuesday against Troy Driver in the murder case of 18-year-old Naomi Irion.
According to the amended criminal complaint, in addition to the crime of kidnapping, Driver is accused of shooting Irion in the head and chest, leading to her death, burying her body in an attempt to destroy evidence of his crime, as well as dispose of the tires from the truck involved in the crime and the destruction of Irion’s cell phone.
The complaint also alleges that Irion was killed in Churchill County, not Lyon County from where she was abducted. Her body was later located in a grave allegedly dug by Driver in a remote location in Churchill County.
The complaint also stated that all of the crimes were committed across the counties of Lyon, Churchill, and Pershing, Eureka and Humboldt counties.
No further information has been released regarding the evidence of the crimes, or Driver’s movements involved in the crimes.
